'Ecoforest Baby Blues' - Anglo-Belgian Blues Alliance
On the banks of Rio Grande
By the mountains close to Coin
Weird shit there a' happenin'
Like the kind you've never seen
Raw food and suntanned bodies
Gonna detox 'til I'm clean...
My addictions come and haunt me
While I'm sweatin' late at night
Bread and coffee, beer and ice-cream
Have never put up such a fight
Man, I feel like I've been poisoned
No, I ain't feelin' right
Now I'm hooked on queueing all day
For a shop that's always closed
Fresh organic mangoes
That's what I would have chose
But I don't see Gary coming...
Cabbage for tea again I s'pose
Now autumn has arrived here
And the rain is pouring down
Got muddy waters all around us
Plenty of squelchin' going down
Oh! my sleeping bag is soaking...
And my tent is slidin' underground
But the problem's the solution
I've heard it said so many times
With my friends I've found a haven
We've got a warm fire, books and games
So we harvest only sunshine
Even when it only rains
Now my life path is a' changing
Got fruit and salads along its edge
forest gardens, swales and compost
And a long and winding fedge
But the pizza's still a' calling
There's place for slippage in my raw food pledge
Now my detox is behind me
I'm as clean as my first born day
Got no clothes to wrap around me
Butt naked is how I play
I'm an Ecoforest baby
And that's the way I'm gonna stay...
I'm an Ecoforest baby
And that's the way I'm gonna stay...
I'm an Ecoforest baby
And that's the way I'm gonna stay!
